In honor of the great holiday we have before us... I would like to open my jar of gratitude and let it splash onto this here blog because tonight it is overflowing...
Grateful for the hour I just got to spend drawing for fun... so much release.
For my wakadoodle family- love, support and late night talks. My family is very close knit and we're each others best friends, how would this little venture ever have started without their support?
For my warm fuzzy slipper socks... mmmhmmm my feet love you.
For big decisions and leaps of faith... I'm about to make one and it scaring the snot outta me, but sometimes you just have to go for it.
For you lovely people who love my art, who write me notes and are so encouraging... you need a lot of that when you're starting out I think and new friendships are always ok by me.
For Sydney my art teacher... it made my day to run into you at the fabric store and watch your excitement as I told you all about CinnamonInk.
For my dad's voicemails, they are the best kind.
For the half full box of macaroons in my itty bitty kitchen.
Especially for Matt for being my person, and I yours, and all that that entails. (PS lovin your new beard.)
In conclusion, I feel grateful. My life is not perfect, but it is really good. I hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving and eat lots of sleep-inducing turkey :)
xo,
Kate
